Michael Levinson

Michael Levinson, a founding Partner and President of Levinson Partners, has over thirty years experience as an operations and technology manager in major corporations, and as a senior executive in the executive recruitment business. At the present time, he is the President of Levinson Partners located in New York City and the President of The JML Group Ltd., an executive recruitment firm, located in Livingston, New Jersey, which he founded in 2002. Previously, he was President of The Concorde Group, a NYC based executive recruitment firm, which he founded in 1990. His company's clients are primarily drawn from the leading companies in the financial services, healthcare, and information services industries. Levinson Partners's primary practice areas are in strategy, information technology, and finance.

Previously, Michael held positions in the manufacturing, banking, and securities industries. At AT&T Michael was in a fast-track management program where he held various positions in manufacturing, finance, and information technology. From there, he joined Citibank, where he managed various departments in operations and technology groups. Mr. Levinson then worked for Goldman Sachs, where he was Vice President, Information Services responsible for conversion of their computer systems enterprise-wide.

Prior to his experience in the business world, Mr. Levinson attended Clarkson University, earning a B.S. degree in Industrial Distribution/Engineering, and New York University, where he received an M.B.A.

 

Liz Rubin

Liz Rubin, a founding Partner of Levinson Partners, has over 20 years of professional experience in the areas of Executive Search, Government, and Career Counseling. Liz is a the Managing Director of Levinson Partners where she leads the Strategy Practice. Most recently she was a HR consultant for Talent Management with Kaplan Inc. where she helped build their Strategy and Innovation group, in addition to recruiting executives in human resources, finance, and technology. Prior to that, she spent over eight years in retained executive search firms, working for major global executive search firms including Korn Ferry International and Spencer Stuart. Earlier in her career, Liz built the Strategy practice at a boutique search firm which focused on placing top strategy consultants in the strategic planning, business development, corporate development of Fortune 1000 corporations.

Liz has developed business relationships with major corporate clients in financial services, retail, biotech, entertainment, and media industries. As a Certified Executive Coach, she has coached professionals in Fortune 500 business corporations and major philanthropic organizations.

Prior to executive search, Liz worked in the political arena as a consultant to a State Assemblyman and a State Senator. She received two advanced degrees from Columbia University including a Masters in Organizational Psychology. She has a certificate from NYU in Career Planning Counseling and received an advanced certificate in Executive Coaching from the Zinklin School of Leadership at the Baruch College. Liz received her B.A., degree from Manhattanville College in 1987.
